Workshop: Becoming Your Preferred Self

Saturday 13 June at 11:30am
Library at the Dock
 • 107 Victoria Harbour Promenade, Docklands

Ever felt like you weren’t fully in control of your own life? This reflective and practical workshop is designed to help queer people reconnect with what truly matters to them, make more intentional choices, and move towards the person they want to become.

Using accessible ACT-based (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy) tools, we’ll explore core values, meaningful goal setting, and the difference between choices that move us towards or away from our preferred self.

Together, we’ll build skills for making decisions with greater clarity, authenticity, and intention in everyday life. Facilitated by a trained mental health professional, this welcoming workshop is open to everyone – no prior knowledge or experience needed. Tickets are $20, and if cost is a barrier, we encourage you to reach out to discuss other options with us.

Queer Speed Fate-ing

Sunday 21 June at 2pm
Hail Lilith
 • 40A Leeds Street, Footscray

In a world of endless scrolling and fleeting interactions, many of us are longing for something more meaningful. Join us for an intimate afternoon of queer connection, tarot, conversation, and delicious plant based canapés in collaboration with Hail Lilith.

Guests will rotate through a series of guided one-on-one “fates,” with tarot cards drawn as playful and reflective conversation prompts. With attendance capped at just 20 people, the atmosphere is designed to feel warm, low-pressure, and genuinely welcoming.
